KBahay began with a simple observation: Filipino families spend enormous time and energy finding reliable help for their homes. From tracking down a plumber after a weekend pipe burst to negotiating fares for a tricycle ride, too many essential household tasks were harder than they needed to be.
We set out to change that. KBahay was built to be the one app a Filipino household needs — a trusted, verified, and affordable way to connect with service professionals, rent equipment, buy groceries, book a ride, and power your home with clean energy.

What is KBahay?
KBahay is a Filipino-built digital super-app that connects households with trusted local service providers, rental suppliers, grocery stores, tricycle drivers, and solar panel installers. Our mission is to make quality home services accessible to every Filipino family through a single, easy-to-use platform available on Android and the web.
What services are available on KBahay?
KBahay currently offers five core modules: (1) Home Services — booking professionals for cleaning, plumbing, electrical work, aircon servicing, beauty services, painting, and general repairs; (2) Rentals — borrowing tools, appliances, furniture, and event equipment; (3) Grocery Store — ordering fresh produce, meat, dairy, and pantry essentials from local stores; (4) KTrike — booking verified tricycle drivers with live GPS tracking; and (5) Solar Panel Installation — professional solar energy solutions from certified technicians.
Is KBahay available in my area?
KBahay is currently operating across select cities and municipalities in the Philippines, with coverage expanding regularly. Open the app and enter your address during booking to see which services are available near you. If your area is not yet covered, we encourage you to download the app and follow our Facebook page for announcements when we expand to your location.
How do I book a home service?
Booking is simple: (1) Download the KBahay app from Google Play. (2) Register your account using your mobile number. (3) Tap "Home Services" and select the type of service you need. (4) Browse available providers, check their ratings and reviews, and choose your preferred professional. (5) Pick a date and time that works for you. (6) Confirm the booking and pay using your chosen payment method. (7) Your provider will arrive at the scheduled time. You can track the status of your booking in real time through the app.
Are service providers on KBahay verified and trustworthy?
Yes, absolutely. All service providers on KBahay undergo a multi-step verification process before they are allowed to accept bookings. This includes government-issued ID verification, professional credential checks (for skilled trades like electrical and plumbing), background screening, and an onboarding assessment. Providers also receive public ratings and written reviews after every booking, which are visible to all customers. Providers with consistently poor ratings or complaints are reviewed and may be removed from the platform.
What payment methods does KBahay accept?
KBahay supports the following payment methods: GCash, Maya (PayMaya), Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards, and cash (available with select providers depending on the service). All digital payments are processed securely through PayMongo, a BSP-supervised payment gateway. KBahay does not store your full card details — all sensitive payment data is handled entirely by our payment processor.
How does KTrike work?
KTrike is our barangay rideshare feature. Here is how it works: (1) Open the KBahay app and tap the KTrike module. (2) Set your pickup location and destination on the map. (3) Confirm the booking — the app will match you with the nearest available verified tricycle driver, usually within 3 minutes. (4) Track your driver's location in real time as they head to your pickup point. (5) Take your ride and pay cashlessly through the app upon arrival. KTrike is designed to be affordable, safe, and convenient for everyday barangay commutes.
Can I cancel a booking, and will I get a refund?
Yes, you can cancel a booking through the app. The refund policy depends on how far in advance you cancel: cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled service are fully refunded; cancellations made 12–24 hours before may receive a 50% refund; cancellations within 12 hours are generally non-refundable and a cancellation fee may apply. If the provider cancels, you will always receive a full refund. Refunds are processed within 1–14 business days depending on your payment method. How do I become a service provider or KTrike driver on KBahay?
We welcome skilled professionals and tricycle drivers to join our growing network. To apply: download the KBahay app, navigate to "Join as Provider" or "Become a Driver," and complete the registration form. You will need to upload a government-issued ID, relevant professional credentials or licenses (for home service categories), and agree to our Provider Agreement. For KTrike Drivers, a valid LTO driver's license and proof of a roadworthy tricycle are required. Once your application is reviewed and verified — typically within 2–5 business days — you can start accepting bookings and earning.
How does Solar Panel Installation work?
Solar Panel Installation is an inquiry-based service facilitated through KBahay. Here is the process: (1) Send an inquiry via our Facebook page (facebook.com/kbhayservices) with your location and your latest monthly electricity bill. (2) Our team will schedule a free on-site assessment at your home to evaluate your roof structure, solar exposure, and energy needs. (3) We will provide a customized system design and a transparent pricing proposal. (4) Upon your approval, our DOE-accredited technicians will complete the installation with minimal disruption to your home. All installations include product warranty and after-sales support.
How does the Grocery Store work?
KBahay Grocery connects you with trusted local stores and sellers for the purchase and delivery of everyday grocery items — fresh produce, meat and seafood, dairy, rice and grains, beverages, snacks, and pantry essentials. Browse by category, add items to your cart, confirm your delivery address, and pay. Your order will be picked and delivered to your door. The Grocery Store module is currently in active development and will be launching soon. Download the app to be notified when it goes live in your area.
Is my personal data safe with KBahay?
Protecting your personal data is one of our highest priorities. KBahay is fully compliant with the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations. We use industry-standard TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypt sensitive data at rest, and strictly limit access to personal information to authorized personnel only. We never sell your personal data to third parties. What do I do if there is a problem with a service I received?
If you experience any issue with a completed service — such as poor workmanship, incomplete work, unprofessional behavior, or damage to your property — you should: (1) Report the issue through the in-app support chat immediately, or email us at info.kbahayservice@gmail.com. (2) File a formal dispute within 48 hours of service completion through the app's dispute resolution feature. (3) Include photos or documentation where applicable. Our support team will investigate the complaint and respond within 7 business days. Providers found responsible for legitimate complaints may face suspension or removal from the platform.
Does KBahay have a web version?
Yes. In addition to the Android mobile app, KBahay has a web platform accessible at shop.kbahayservice.com, allowing customers to browse services, manage bookings, and access their account from any desktop or laptop browser. The web platform supports all major service modules available in the app.
